Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure® for the Spring 2013 No Boundaries 5K Training Program!  This year's motto, "Doing Something For Yourself While Doing Something For Others."  The Komen Race for the Cure Series is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world. PLEASE JOIN THE MOVEMENT TODAY, creating a healthier lifestyle for yourself while taking steps to fight breast cancer.

Join the FLEET FEET No Boundaries 5K Training Program in support of the 15th Annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure® as a team and save!  Simply bring your family, friends and coworkers together to support a great cause, to celebrate breast cancer survivors, and to create health and happiness through the activity of walking and running.

WHAT IS NO BOUNDARIES?

No Boundaries is a 10-week beginner 5K (3.1 miles) training program designed for people who are currently inactive or new to running and walking.  The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles.  No Boundaries participants receive guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury -all within a fun and supportive environment.  The program culminates with the team members participating in the 2013 Komen St. Louis Race For the Cure®

Program participants receive:

  • A professionally-designed 10-week training program with daily workouts
  • Coached group runs on Wednesday evenings at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 7am at the location of your choice; with pace groups and coaching for walkers, run/walkers, and a variety of running paces. (REGISTRATION IS SPECIFIC TO EACH LOCATION.  PLEASE INDICATE YOUR CHOICE UPON CHECKOUT)
  • Additional supported workouts for breast cancer survivors.
  • Weekly communications and support from our dedicated coaching staff
  • Seminars and clinics on topics such as injury and prevention, nutrition, how to dress in the ever-changing St. Louis weather, and cross training
  • Affiliation with our community partners; health professionals and service providers who offer benefits to all team members
