Starting Location: 1766 Schwede Rd, Wentzville, MO 63385 (this is a residence address, drive past it and the first LEFT is the park entrance) - please note this is not the main park entrance off of Route DD. Coming from highway 40, head West then South along Route DD for roughly 4 miles till you come to Schwede Road, turn RIGHT and go a little ways till you come to the park entrance on your LEFT, turn there and park in the paved lot at the bottom of the hill.
Parking Instructions: Meet at the paved parking lot at the bottom of the hill from the entrance into the park from SCHWEDE ROAD - not the park entrance off of Route DD. If the lot fills there are some other lots just a little ways down if needed. Car pool is not needed but might help some if it works with you. Start time for the run will be 7:00am.

Short course = 3 loops (5+ miles roughly) / Long course = 4 loops (9+ miles roughly)
Short and Long course runners will run the exact same first 3 loops, with right before the end of that 3rd loop those going long will break away and start their 4th loop before finishing up. Loop 1 will be just over 1 mile and is mostly single track trail in the woods. From the parking lot, cross the bridge over to the trail, and then make a LEFT to start the loop, and then staying pretty much to your RIGHT the rest of the way as you run this in a CLOCKWISE manner back to the bridge and the parking lot.
To start loop 2, as you come back across the bridge towards the parking lot from the trail, you will turn LEFT and head across the grass past the pavilions to where a GRASS trail picks up and starts to head back up towards SCHWEDE RD. At the first split, turn LEFT (DO NOT TAKE THE HAY RIDE PATH, that crosses Schwede Rd where we are NOT running). After you make this first LEFT at the split, the rest of this loop you will make any RIGHT turn you come to as you will run this loop in a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE manner. You will come back to that split in the beginning of this loop and then head back to the parking lot to complete it.
To start loop 3, simply head back over the bridge onto the single track trail and this time you will run the exact same as the first loop only REVERSE, so stay RIGHT at the beginning and loop around going in a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE manner. Those going short will finish this loop up and head back to the parking lot to finish.
Those going long, shortly before the end of the 3rd loop where those running short will make a sharp LEFT hairpin turn, you will stay RIGHT and start loop 4 following the single track trail called "JACK'S LOOP" in a CLOCKWISE manner that will take you around the perimeter of the main park and back to this spot, then you will head back to the parking lot to finish.
