Fleet Feet Race Productions offers a comprehensive array of race management and timing services to help Race Directors smoothly run their events from start to finish. Since 1993 we have used state-of-the-art technology to time some of St. Louis' most popular races, from 5Ks to marathons, trail runs to triathlons, cross country meets to cycling events. We were the first chip timing company in St. Louis and we currently work with over 200 events every year.
For an event to be successful, accurate results are a must. Fleet Feet Race Productions uses the MyLaps BibTag chip timing system, which utilizes virtually weightless RFID timing chips that are attached directly to the race numbers, thus eliminating the need for participants to attach timing chips to their shoes and race organizers to keep track of those chips. MyLaps is the most reliable timing system for running events in the world and is used at races like the Chicago Marathon and Boston Marathon. Utilizing mats allows our system to integrate with any finish line structure, but we also can provide finish line trusses that support a two-sided race clock and accommodate custom banners. Our state-of-the-art computerized system allows us to offer live results on large screen monitors, customized printable results via computerized kiosks, personalized results emails, personalized online results pages, custom mobile app for events, online registration, dynamic bib assignment at packet pickup, and more.
Fleet Feet also offers pull-tag (i.e, non-chip) timing. Pull-tag timing is an excellent alternative option for medium-sized races or small races with inexperienced Race Directors that don't need all the "bells and whistles" made available by the highly-computerized chip timing solution.
Do-It-Yourself Timing Kits
For Race Directors who are putting on smaller events and working with tight budgets, we also rent Finish Line Timing kits. The kit includes a digital race clock and stand, one primary printing timing device as well as a back up printing timing device, 10 large cones, a finish line teardrop banner, set of stringers and simple instructions on how to use the equipment to time an event. Additional equipment (freestanding mile markers, directional arrows, small and large cones, safety vests, bike racks) is also available for rental. For a small fee you can get set up with online registration to easily track the number of participants for your event.
Hosting a race is a huge undertaking. From the first stages of budget planning until the presentation of the final age group award, Fleet Feet can provide full-service event consultation and management to ensure that both participants and the hosts enjoy a successful event. We can design a safe and accurate course, obtain the necessary permits, and manage logistics such as course markings, signs, barricades, water stations, traffic control, safety, and volunteer recruitment, training, and placement. We can handle every aspect of online and on-site registration and host packet pick-up at one or more of three Fleet Feet St. Louis locations. Our comprehensive event planning process will ensure every aspect of your race is organized and well executed. We’ll also help market your event to St. Louis area athletes via a website, emails, and social media platforms.
