This beautiful course is not only flat and fast, but one gets to run through the beautiful parks of Eureka. Also, this run is very well organized, easy to sign up for, easy to park and participate in. This is a family friendly run no matter the age-everyone is guaranteed to have a good time. After the event one is able to grab a cold beverage and amazing breakfast of choice then watch the Eureka Day Parade from you breakfast seat. All money goes directly back into our community serving the eye care needs of local kids and adults.

- Awards |Top 3 female and top 3 male overall runners receive awards as well for the 5K and 10K and the top 3 overall finishers of the 1.5K. The top 3 females and top 3 males for both 5K and 10K in the following age groups receive awards: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. Team competition: top 5 for 5K and 10K.Medals will go to the first 10 walkers in the 3K. For the kids race, everyone gets a dog tag.
