Join us for the first ever Race for Refugees 5K in beautiful Tower Grove Park, and show your support for our local refugee and immigrant community! Proceeds will benefit the International Institute of St. Louis. The first 250 registrants are guaranteed our super cool race t-shirt designed by our very own artist/poet/teacher extraordinaire Joe Mohr, author and illustrator of ROBOT+BIKE=KITTEN. After the race, enjoy a complimentary Urban Chestnut Brewing Company beer (guaranteed for first 250 registrants, 21 and older), Starbucks coffee, and Companion goodies. Relax and recover listening to the mellow yet mischievous sounds of Sadie Hawkins Day String Band. Runners, both young and old and everywhere in between, as well as walkers, strollers, and dogs welcome!
