Undy 5000

Undy 5000

On Saturday, March 27th, the 2nd annual St. Louis Undy 5000 5K run/walk will take place in Forest Park in the Upper Muny Lot. This ‘brief’ 5K run/walk in your undies is to raise awareness and funds for the fight against colorectal cancer. The race will begin at 9am. Runners and walkers will wear anything from running shorts to their wildest pair of boxers. Participants will also receive a commemorative pair of Undy 5000 boxer shorts!

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 male and female colorectal cancer survivors. There will also be awards for the top 3 male and female youth finishers (ages 6 to 13) for the 5K.

Packet pickup will be at FLEET FEET Fenton on Friday, March 26th from 10am-8pm, and on race morning. You can register for the event online. For more information, visit the race website.

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, but it is preventable through early screening. This important but fun event will be held in different cities across the country throughout the year to educate the public about colon cancer and early screenings.
