Break a sweat and work off Thanksgiving dinner with Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri!
Join us for the fifth annual “Girl Scouts Go-Run for the Cookies.” Choose between the 1-mile family walk and new this year, a 5K run/walk course, or do both! All finishers will receive a commemorative, one-of-a-kind Girl Scout Cookie medal featuring one of the beloved cookies. Participants who register by Nov. 3 are guaranteed a race shirt as well.
This event drew more than 1,400 participants in 2016 and we expect an even bigger turn out in 2017. Community organizations will educate race attendees on healthy-living options in the St. Louis area with fun and informational booths racers and their families can visit before or after the race. Also at the event, there will be a climbing wall and bounce house for family fun along with other children’s activities!
Again this year — enter the group costume contest and win prizes! Also, bring a toy for donation to a local non-profit on race day and enter to win a special prize! This year the Girl Scouts of Eastern MO will be collecting toys to donate to the United Way agencies.
