Shake off those winter blues with FLEET FEET Diva Night: Spring Revival Edition! The popular Diva Night event returns to FLEET FEET Chesterfield on April 22nd, and this time the focus is on everything fresh, new, and rejuvenated. Professional hair and makeup consultants will be on hand with beauty makeover tips, while organization specialists will provide new ways to keep your home in order. Original jewelry designs, beautiful roses, and nutritious smoothie samples will ensure you find just what you need for a healthy, revitalized spring. There will also be raffles and prizes throughout the evening, as well as food and beverages. Join us for a Diva Night party! (It will be fabulous, dah-ling!)
Diva Night will be held at FLEET FEET Chesterfield on Wednesday, April 22nd, at 7:00PM. Space is limited, so please RSVP. Services will be provided by Your Life Organized, Metro Salon, Smoothie King, Flowers of Clayton, and Silpada Designs.
Want to run a 5K, but don't know where to begin? Need some motivation to adopt an active, healthy lifestyle?
There are only a few days left to sign up for the No Boundaries 5K training program, and spots are filling up quickly! No Boundaries is a 10-week training program designed for beginners looking to walk, run, or run/walk their first 5K race. The program provides beginning runners and walkers with a fun, supportive environment that encourages a lifetime of health and activity. Participants will receive guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs or walks with appropriate pace grouping, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. The 10-week training program culminates with the Run for the Stars 5K in Forest Park on June 6th.
The No Boundaries 5K training program begins with an orientation
meeting on March 24th at FLEET FEET Fenton; March 25th at FLEET FEET St.
Charles; or March 26th at FLEET FEET Chesterfield. All orientation
meetings begin at 7:00PM. (All participants must attend one meeting.)
The first day of class is Wednesday, April 1st. No Boundaries meetings
will be held at Creve Coeur Lake on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM and
Saturday mornings at 7:00AM. Participants will meet at Sailboat Cove.
Parking and restrooms are available at the start.
The 10-week program is $75 and includes coached runs, training tips and seminars, and a technical shirt and jacket. A discounted race registration is available, but is not included in the program fee. Registration is available online, or you can download a registration form here. Long-time FLEET FEET-ers and dedicated runners Rich and Megan Daniels are out to provide a solution to an exasperating problem: earbuds that are uncomfortable, fit poorly, and fall out during use.
Rich and Megan are part of Verto custom fit earbuds, an exciting
start-up company headquartered in St. Louis. Verto is dedicated to
creating a comfortable earbud that stays in place during activity,
and they need your help! Rich has created a concise, two-minute
survey to help pinpoint fit and priority for earbud users. Those who
take the survey can also enter to win a gift certificate to Amigos
Cantina restaurant in Kirkwood. Also, be certain to check out
Verto's interactive booth at the GO!St. Louis Marathon expo on April
17th and 18th. Verto will be measuring ears and sharing
prototypes with runners. 
On Saturday, April 25th, the 3rd Annual Clarkson Eyecare Foundation 5K Run/Walk will be held to raise funds for much-needed eye care services for the people of St. Louis and around the world. The Clarkson Eyecare Foundation provides vision improvement for those in need. This evening race will take place at 6PM at Queeny Park’s Picnic Site #1. Come out and join Z107-7 and Fred Bird for this beautiful spring evening race!
All participants for the 5K will be professionally timed by FLEET FEET Sports. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59 and 60 & over.

The St. Rose Youth League is sponsoring the 4th Annual Wildcat Pounce 5K/2K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 25th, in St. Rose, Illinois. The 5K starts at 9AM, and the 2K starts at 9:45AM. This is a fun, family-friendly event. The course starts in town with a mildly challenging hill and continues out of town for a flat, out-and-back portion. Drinks, doughnuts, and fruit will be available immediately following the race, and the awards will be presented shortly after.
The top three male and female overall finishers will receive trophies. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 & over.
You can register by downloading an entry form here. Registration fee is $15 if postmarked by April 11th, and $20 if postmarked April 12th or later. Race Day registration is also available for $20. Packet pick-up is from 7:45AM to 8:45AM on race day. Event t-shirts are available for all pre-registered entrants. Race day and late registrations are not guaranteed a shirt.
The Youth League provides uniforms, equipment, and officials for soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball programs for the kids in St. Rose. This is our biggest fund raiser. Hope to see you there!

The Animal Protective Association of Missouri is holding its Fast and Furriest 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk presented by Classic Car Studio on Sunday, April 26th, at Tower Grove Park. The race begins at 9AM. The USATF Certified Course begins at the Sons of Rest Shelter in Tower Grove Park.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers as well as to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 & over.
You can register online or download an entry form here. Basic Registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt, commemorative event towel, and goody bag. Premium Registration is $30 and includes a high-performance athletic shirt, collapsible pet bowl, commemorative event towel, and goody bag. A $5 charge will be added to those who register after April 23rd.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to participate with their pet parents! You can visit with adoptable pets from the APA and view cars on display courtesy of Classic Car Studio. For more information, go to the APA website or call 314-645-4610 x 112.
