   We would like to introduce you to another passion of ours, our shoe donation programs. Through two outstanding charitable organizations-- Wounded Warriors and Soles4Souls-- FLEET FEET Sports has been able to support our country's service men and women as well as provide essential footwear for those in need. Read more!

FLEET FEET Sports is dedicated to serving the local running and walking community – but we also support those outside of our community. Through two outstanding charitable organizations – Wounded Warriors and Soles4Souls – FLEET FEET Sports supports our country's injured service members and provides essential footwear for those in need.

WOUNDED WARRIORS-Shoe Donation Program

Wounded Warriors provides new, high-quality footwear to wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan who are recovering at the Landstuhl Medical Center in Germany. The local Reserve Officer’s Association (ROA) accepts tax-deductable cash donations and uses those donations to purchase shoes from FLEET FEET Sports at a substantial discount. The ROA then ships the shoes to Germany. As of March 2009, the $4000+ in donations to the ROA had resulted in approximately $25,000 worth of shoes being shipped to Germany. FLEET FEET Sports proudly invites you to join us in support of the Wounded Warriors shoe donation program. All monies donated to the program must go through the Reserve Officers Association. We prefer that donations be made via checks made payable to the “Reserve Officers Association” or “ROA” – with “Wounded Warriors” noted in the memo section. Checks should be sent to “Wounded Warriors, c/o FLEET FEET Sports, 3813 Mexico Road, St. Charles, MO 63303.” For every $15 raised by the ROA, FLEET FEET will sell them (tax-free) a technical athletic shoe (with a typical retail value of $100). The ROA will then transport the shoes to Landstuhl, Germany, where they are delivered to an injured soldiers. If you have questions, email David Spetnagel or Dawn Pesti, our ROA contact.

FLEET FEET is also proud to be an official drop-off location for Soles4Souls, a unique charitable organization that distributes gently worn shoes to people in need around the world. Since its inception, Soles4Souls has distributed over 2.6 million pairs of shoes to people in over 40 countries and 5 continents. FLEET FEET customers have contributed greatly to the charity, generously donating hundreds of pairs of shoes every month.
